It’s not easy being an introvert! We get you! We are two introverted ladies who work at different places, in different geographies, in different sectors and with different people but when we catch up once a week to unburden ourselves from the weekly chores of our work, relationships and life, our stories seem to be very similar.

Book and I have been talking to each other from ages (misleading, its only been 5 years). We met as classmates in 2015, in the most prestigious management college in India and even though were assigned into one group for lots of projects, we bonded over a ‘Perspectives on Leadership’ 8 AM class where we sat next to each other and whispered our musings on life.

Book is awesome at data analytics. By her name, you must have guessed, she loves reading books. She also reads people like she reads data, with of course plenty of room for psyche as the undefined variable. She loves connecting the dots, is extremely witty, has one liners for every observation and unfortunately is single as f*ck!

And in the danger of sounding too obnoxiously proud, introducing myself, I am Rose, I love to observe people and then talk about them. I find it amusing to see how people behave under different circumstances and I seem to have an explanation for each behaviour. I am creative, I write faster than I speak, I am not good with words, nor do I have a fantastic vocabulary, but I can captivate a reader’s attention — is what I am told. I am also taken, and find the grass on the other side greener as always.

Book and I have many things in common -

We are introverts. We would rather stay at home than hang out with friends. We are funny people. We crack witty jokes, a perception soon to be broken because now we will lay out our wit and humour to a larger audience beyond the both of us, and test its integrity.

But there is one thing you will definitely find interesting if not useful in our blogs — we will share our experiences at workplace, relationships and life with few tips and tricks to get by. This is what we did over the last 5 years over countless unrecorded conversations. And now we will open it for some of you to judge, some of you to mock and the rest of you to ignore :-)

We have nothing to lose, you don’t even know our real names.

Two introverted girls sharing their stories and lessons for you to ignore. So timid that we needed each other to start blogging! Can we have some slow claps?
